This is a fund-raising activity every one can contribute to. We need as many as possible to participate, both pledging and bidding for promises, to raise the much need funds for the buildings project. It works by individuals pledging to supply "A Promise" which is then auctioned to the highest bidder on the night. The promise can be a gift or a service to be taken free of charge at sometime in the future.
To get you thinking what you can contribute here are some ideas but please be as creative and generous as you wish. Consider what you can donate yourself, or ask your company to donate on your behalf:
- Handmade Novelty Children's Birthday Cake
- Flight for two in Single engine plane.
- 2 hours ironing to be done at your house
- Round of golf at Wokefield Park
- Set up Christmas card labels on your computer
- Family photographic session
- 2 hour dog training session plus teach your dog a trick
- Babysitting for one night
- Dinner party catered at your home.
- Back and Shoulder massage
- Half day of DIY jobs
- Garden planting scheme design
- 1/2 day fly fishing or shooting
- Knit an item of your choice
- Driving lesson
- Chauffer for an evening out. Collect from home and returned before midnight.
- Ticket to a sporting event
- Tuition - exam preparation or introduction to a musical instrument
- Long weekend at Holiday home
