Community Activities

In East, we encourage everyone to outwork their faith in a multitude of different ways, both individually and within a variety of groups.  Our faith is not just about Sundays but impacts many different aspects of our lives and we are excited to see the growing number of opportunities we have to serve others in our communities. 

Some people in East are involved with organisations like Besom and Street Pastors -if you want some information about these initiatives click on the menu on the left.

Others are involved in the community in many different organisations including Chineham Scouts, Bramley youth club, Good Companions (a group for older residents that meets in Four Lanes School) and a Bramley care home. 

And still others are working to bring a sense of community to their neighbourhood by starting sports evenings, by bringing young mums together and by taking time to get to know their neighbours.

We want to be a welcoming community within the communities in which we live and there's scope for everyone to do something to contribute to that!
