Key House - week beginning 12 April
After a week's break for Easter things have picked up at Key House: the ground floor walls have started to be built, as has the framework for the new rooms on the first and second floors, the new roof is nearly finished and we discover the secret fuel for the workforce.
Take a look at the latest photos and video of all the action...

To see the second floor changes click here.
Hello, whats going on here..?
...the main-man (Dave Downer) marks where a hole needs to go, not writing graffiti :)
The new walls on the ground floor are being built...
This 'building site' will become a new outdoor recreation space...
Meanwhile up on the first floor, the new framework for the walls begins to go in (look for the thin vertical lines).
'Er, not sure if this is right?' Pete Warner from North BCC (the offical tea maker) checks the plans...
...and on the second floor, this new red cable is for the fire alarm system.
Also on the second floor you can see the new framework and some walls (on the right).
This will be a classroom at the far end of the second floor...
...and this will be the 'food tech' room with the 'lab prep' room behind.
This will be the new 'IT' room (on the left where the sink is) and toilets (on the right)...
...and at the front of the building the two new 'seminar' rooms!
The 'diamond cutter' goes through the floors for cabling to feed through.
Above the second floor, the boiler room is nearly completed.
And up on the roof, things are nearly done too...
...notice the new insulation under the weather proof top...
...and a nice clean finish :)
Mmm...can't get to the toilets very easily.
And the fuel that keeps the workforce going...
