Key House - week beginning 15 March

key house logoMonday 15 March was the second week of work on Key House. There were more internal cables and the remains of the old Air Con pipes to come out. The ceiling tiles on the second floor were taken down and stored, ready to be reused. The scaffolding went up on the Trinity Church side, so that the leaky rook can be fixed and new windows put in. Work began ripping up the tarmac under the building, and the project manager, Mr David Downer, set up office of the first floor!

Take a look...the pictures are bigger too

So why can't people park here today?

Oh...that's why.

The team started first thing in the morning and by the end of the afternoon...

Meanwhile on the other side of the building...

The tarmac is removed...

...and taken away.

The ground is levelled off ready to be built on.

What can't be recycled, or sold as scrap ends here.

To the right of the wall is where a path will go to connect Key House to the Sarum Hill Centre playground.

The ceiling tiles on the second floor have been carefully taken down...

...and stored so they can be reused.

The Project Manager's office (on the first floor)...nice hat Dave!

Key House is officially a no-loo zone :)
