Key House - week beginning 2 August

We're into August and the 'finish line' for Key House creeps ever nearer! Much of the painting has now been down, recycled doors have been re-hung. The 'dirty lab' is slowly coming together. More lights and ceiling tiles have gone in. The path between the two sites starts next week. The Bramblys building lies silent, until next week when more works starts to turn it into the primary department. Catch the latest video and photos below...

In the Brambly's building students have written their farewell messages on the white boards.

Ooh...there's a whole in the wall. This 'appeared' when the wooden lockers where removed last week. A new wall will need to go in!

In the old staff room a new kitchen area is being built...

..and the rest of the room becomes a workshop.

The lab is packed up and ready to go.

The corridor with old 'lockers' wait until work begins next week.

From the playgound you can see where trees have been cleared for the new path and steps.

In Key House, the new fire escape doorways have been knocked through...

...and from the outside.

New door frames have gone in...

...and doors too!

More painting...magnolia.

Work continues in the 'dirty lab'.

The new door way to the special needs room on the ground floor...

...and the new frames go in ready for glazing in the art room.

Tea break time for the workers, with donuts too :)
