Perfectly imperfect...

3rd May 2018

How good it is to be reminded that we are all ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’ (Psalm 139:14). We are all a mix of flaws and gifts. All of us with our different personality types and traits that we can pinpoint as ‘ours’. The wonderful truth is that whatever they are, whatever our faults and shortcomings we are ‘fearfully and wonderfully’ made and God loves us just as we are, and He can use us just as we are.

God wants to help us to change to be more like Him – in spirit, attitude and action, but He doesn’t want to change us to be more like another person, or less like ourselves. He doesn’t call us to be perfect, or to be like anyone else. He simply calls us to be the best version of us that we can be; and that is a work in progress for us all! He doesn’t look for experts He looks for volunteers, those ready to volunteer to be His hands, His feet and His voice.

Let us allow God to show us how He can use us to impact the world around us… just as we are… perfectly imperfect.
