Basingstoke Community Churches is pleased to introduce REFRESH – a week-long festival of encountering God. We’ve taken our Summer School week and given it a makeover! What you can expect from this year’s event is the same quality and depth of inspirational teaching as in recent years with a heightened expression of encountering God through the supernatural power of the Spirit. We’ve also worked hard to make REFRESH a week for the family. We’ve introduced an opening family event on the Saturday as well as trying to cater for different age groups during the week – we have for example introduced an evening for the 20's to 30’s.
We’re thrilled to have a number of great speakers at this year’s event with sessions taking place during both the daytime and evenings, as well as covering a range of topics. Hopefully everyone will find something they can attend and that grabs their attention. The event is of course about having fun! It’s also about being REFRESHed in order that we as individuals and as the church can be more effective in living out the gospel, communicating and demonstrating our faith in society, and seeing lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
REFRESH isn’t a week for information download – it’s a week for encountering God together as a family of people, learning and growing together as we journey into the things of God! We trust you’ll enjoy the week and we look forward to seeing you there.
