Mark Buchanan
Mark Buchanan and his wife Cheryl live on Vancouver Island with their 3 children. He is a pastor and the author of seven books (Your God is Too Safe, Things Unseen, The Holy Wild, The Rest of God, Hidden in Plain Sight, Spiritual Rhythm: Being with Jesus Every Season of Your Soul and Your Church is Too Safe) as well as numerous articles for Leadership, Christianity Today, Discipleship Journal, and several other magazines. He enjoys scuba diving, fishing, cycling and many more outdoor activities, and a few indoor ones, too.
Beverley Shepherd
Beverley is a trainer, writer and executive coach. In addition to running her own management training consultancy, she specialises in training on leadership, team building and stress management. Since 2001 she is has been an associate speaker for the London Institute of Contemporary Christianity and recently took responsibility for the PrayerWorks initiative. She is passionate about living out her faith in the workplace, and longs to encourage and equip Christian believers to pray effectively in the face of the challenges and stresses posed by work. She is also a writer and her books include ‘Created as a Women’ and ‘Insight into Stress’.
Tony Rozée
Tony Rozée is the senior leader of the New Forest Community Church. In addition to his local work, Tony travels to different parts of the world serving the wider Church including Kenya, Macedonia and Spain. This involves the teaching and training of leaders, as well as the founding of churches in places where they have yet to be established. God has been with Tony in this work in very special ways; many people have experienced God's healing when being prayed for, and as a result of the gospel's impact local communities have reported considerable transformation in their well-being.
Gill Sakakini
Gill Sakakini has a BA degree in French and Fine Art and a DipCS from Regent College, Vancouver. She is studying for an MA in Christianity and the Arts at King’s College, London with an interest in the place of the arts in theological education. Gill is as a teacher and she leads retreats and classes on arts practices as reflection. Her visual work is seen in diverse worship spaces and she has led congregations in collaborative installations. As a faculty member at the Grünewald Guild in Washington State she teaches at the Liturgical Arts week.
Gary Bastin
Gary and his wife Marianne have three children, two guinea pigs and one large trampoline. He has worked for BCCs for over 20 years and leads the Town Centre Community Church. For many years he has been involved leading music groups and led worship at Salt & Light events. He loves watching movies, listening to music and plays drums and guitar (but not at the same time). His guilty pleasure is watching ‘You’ve Been Framed’ on TV.
