Andy and Kari Downer with Elizabeth and Josiah. Hopital de Meskine Cameroon. The hospitals vision is to share the love of Jesus through good quality medical care and as people are open pray, share the gospel and encourage them.
Andy works in the hospitals administration and finances, helping with procedures and controls, computer training, reporting and other projects. Kari is a nurse working alongside the African nurses, supporting them and giving specialized care where needed.
Other time is spent language learning the local trade language, visiting, reading to and praying for patients both at the hospital and at home after they are discharged.
