Intercessory prayer

The late Alan Redpath said, "Prayer's true purpose is to enable us to set the super natural power of God at work in overcoming the natural problems & situations of life."

Indeed, prayer links us to the Power Source of the whole universe - God, who as our father, is always there for us, ready to bless us & meet our needs.

In South Church, faith in Christ has joined us together as a family recognising our absolute dependence upon God at all times & in all things.   When from time to time, as in any family, needs or crises occur, the 'family' close ranks to intercede to God for His Divine intervention, power or direction.  Always keeping in view the glory & purposes of God, even as Jesus urged us to pray, "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done." 

Intercessory Prayer Group

Membership of this group is by invitation or recommendation only (due to confidential nature of some subjects). They meet on a Thursday evening once monthly Jan to July & then Sept to Dec. They will accept confidential prayer requests from anyone who would like prayer support.
