Alpha

The Alpha Course is a short informal study programme designed for those who want to find out what Christians believe.  We have run an Alpha course about once a year (or more often if people want to do one) for the last few years.

People normally meet in someone’s home for one evening per week for about 12 weeks.  Everyone has a meal together and then someone from the church gives a short talk on the subject for the evening. This is usually followed by lots of discussion and questions. Many people have found that the course is very useful in answering some of the really basic questions they have about what it means to be a Christian.

Some of those who have attended courses have had a real encounter with God and have gone on to become regular members of the Town Centre church family.  Whatever the outcome at the end of the course most people have found it to be a very positive experience.
