Small groups
Small groups are one of the most important ways of deepening relationships and providing a place for mutual care and encouragement. Over the years they have been called by a variety of different names (and still are): house, cell, life, small or home group!
It’s great to hear the message on a Sunday morning, but it’s just as important to root it into our lives in a deeper and more personal way. That’s where mid week groups come in - where we can get into the Bible and prayer in a deeper and more relevant way. The main aim for these groups is simple: to build a closer, more intimate relationship with God and with each other and to live this out in everyday life. It’s also a place where we can take on more responsibility in a safe environment and grow in our confidence and skills. This is outworked through worship, prayer, Bible study, fellowship, accountability with other believers and work in the community.
Midweek groups are a place of relationship, where we can both get and give support, where we can bring our questions and talk more about what we’re learning on Sundays. Our midweek meetings happen on different nights and in very different styles.
