Oakley Big Lunch-Queen's Jubilee
28th March 2012
The whole village of Oakley will be coming together to enjoy a Big Lunch and Queen's Jubilee celebration on the 3rd June 12:00 - 3:30 at the school green. The churches are teaming together to provide many children's activities including crazy golf, a bouncy castle, face painting, mini-olypmics and who knows what else. There will be plenty of other exhibitions by village groups of all kinds. We'll all share lunch together on the school green along with the many activities that will be provided.

Oakley Village Litter Pick
21st August 2011
On Saturday the 1st of August Oakley Community Church will be sponsoring and running a village wide litter pick. This will kickoff at 10:00 from the school lay-by and have two sessions one from 10:00 -12:30 and another from 2:00-4
:30. There will be teas/coffee other refreshemtns provided for all the workers throughout the day. -

Oakley Community Church May-June Progamme: All Meetings at Andover Road Hall unless otherwise noted. We will continue looking at the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts and following teaching on the fruits and gifts of the Spirit. There are also evening worship meetings planned in addition to the special Family Weekend with a litter pick, skittles evening, and a tea/show for older folks in the village. Most of our meetings kickoff with coffee at 10:30am, come and be a part of it all! There are of course housegroups that meet during the week,

West Region July-August Sunday Programme
29th June 2011
3rd July - All Together at St. Mary's Hall 10:30 hearing from our KBCTC students about their travels, this is all followed by lunch together
10th July - Oakley Joint Churches Meeting at the Junior School 10:15, this is the next in the great meetings of the churches in Oakley coming together as one at our Sunday morning gathering
10th July - Overton Churches Working Together worship evening at the Methodist Church 6:30 pm, an evening devoted to worshiping and praying together for our villages

ChillZone Summer Streetz Programme
29th June 2011
This summer the school holidays the ChillZone will be hosting one of the Summer Streetz programmes, there are 9 taking place around the borough. We'll be having some really cool events throughout the month on Thursdays including, graffiti art workshops, street dance, pottery painting and DJ desk workshops. This will be in addition to be open on Tuesday nights as usual, this is also in conjuction with the youth club in Whitchurch where they will be doing some of the same kind of actitivies.

May-June Programme for Test Valley Community Church
30th April 2011
This May is an exciting time for Test Valley as we start to meet in the Overton Methodist church as of the first of the month. We'll be sharing coffee/teas together at 10:30 with our meeting kicking off at 11:00. All meetings taking place at the Methodist Church unless otherwise noted. There are housegroups that meet in the villages, youth ministry on Friday's and Sunday's in Overton along with the ChillZone on Tuesday's and Thursday's. We look forward to seeing all that God is going to be doing during these months.

Test Valley @ the Methodist Church
14th March 2011
As of the first Sunday in May the Test Valley Community Church will be meeting at the Overton Methodist Church. This is a partnership of our church meeting at their facility, sharing teas/coffee on the morning with their meeting beginning at 9:30 and our meeting at 11:00. This is an exciting step in the churches of Overton working together even closer than they have in the past. We will have to see what happens with other ministries that may be worked on together as time moves forward.

December programmes for Oakley and Test Valley

In Oakley we are going to be looking at Lent and keywords that surround that part of the Christian calendar. In Test Valley we'll be opening up the Beatitudes and how they are lived out under an umbrella of hope.

Not the Village Show

The Oakley Pantomime Society made up mostly from members of West church have a Winter Show coming up soon. Not the Village Show is the name of the event, sketches, singing, dancing, a ploughman's dinner and who knows what else.
